Beechwood Park, Newport
Beechwood Park comprises 30 acres of land, originally the private grounds of Beechwood House, a Grade II listed mansion built as a private residence in 1877-78. Newport Borough Council bought Beechwood House in 1900 and developed the grounds as a public park.
